Job Purpose
The Executive – Automotive Sales (Lubricants) is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets through effective market coverage, dealer development, and customer relationship management. The role focuses on expanding the lubricant business by strengthening distribution channels, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring sustainable sales growth in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned annual and monthly sales targets under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing dealers, distributors, and key customers.
- Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers to strengthen the lubricant distribution network.
- Conduct regular market visits to promote lubricant products, communicate product updates, and provide after-sales support.
- Identify new business opportunities, including institutional sales, fleet customers, and major lubricant projects within the assigned region.
- Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, product positioning, and market trends to support sales planning.
- Carry out market surveys and feasibility studies in coordination with the Marketing team.
- Ensure effective territory management, including route planning, outlet coverage, and market expansion.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, market intelligence, and performance updates as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and quality standards while delivering customer service excellence.
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (Honors/BBA) from a reputed university.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the lubricant or automotive industry is preferred; fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in field sales, dealer handling, or distribution management will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of lubricant products and basic automotive applications.
- Customer relationship management and dealer development capability.
- Market analysis, sales forecasting, and territory planning skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and mobile/field sales applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Result-oriented mindset with strong time management and multitasking ability.
- Ability to work independently in field-based sales roles.
